What is a spinal screen?
A spinal screen is a short telephone appointment with a fully qualified Chiropractor. The appointment lasts approximately 10 minutes with The Hillsborough Chiropractic Clinic. Typically, the screening begins with the Chiropractor discussing with the client any issues they might have such as headaches, neck pain, back pain. In more complicated conditions the Chiropractor may ask you to come in to discuss your issues, review any medical test results, and potentially perform a couple of tests to see if you would be a suitable candidate for treatment or whether you may be better seeing a different health care professional.

In the event that Chiropractic treatment may help, details are given about booking in for a full new patient appointment at the clinic which will allow for a more thorough consultation and examination to be conducted, followed by a report of findings. If Chiropractic can’t help, advice is usually given as to where the client can go which may be more appropriate for them.
